Lighting Glitter Houses

I'm playing with lighting the glitter houses today. There is a tiny LED light inside that casts such a nice, warm glow. The lighted houses are reminding me of the snow village that I would help my mother assemble on the fireplace mantel every Christmas. We would set the houses on top of polyester snow and hang stockings below. Hmm.... I think I need to start designing some stockings to go with these little houses!

    Carol, I LOVE these little houses lit!!! OH....I want to see a mantle with a little village on it!!! It would be so darling! Are these lights plugged in or battery operated?

    Thank you for your kind comments! Patty, right now I have them on a Cr2032 size battery. The battery is about 3/4" diameter and flat, so it would be easy to hide.

    These are so sweet. The lighting idea is excellent. I have just tried out LED lighting for the first time and am really impressed with it. So many uses.
